The islands of Islamorada and Marathon are located in the middle keys. Islamorada and Marathon are home to the "humps". These underwater mounds attract dolphin, sharks, tuna and wahoo on the Atlantic side of the keys. Flamingo, on the Gulf side, is home to redfish, snook, trout and tarpon. Closer to home on the downtown flats of Islamorada you can find world record sized bonefish. The seven mile bridge built over 104 years ago was a marvel of engineering. Large schools of hungry tarpon call it home. These islands offer a great variety of gamefish from the flats to the Gulf Stream.
